Thesis/Dissertation Awards Program
The CHBGS will annually grant two (2) UMI /Proquest thesis/dissertation awards (the CHBGS/UMI awards) starting Spring 2006. Each year, one Master's thesis and one doctoral dissertation will be selected for awards. These awards are divided into two discipline areas: Life Sciences and Social Sciences and will rotate on a two-year cycle. The awards in Life Sciences are scheduled for even years and Social Sciences in odd years.
