The 52nd Annual Conference of the Council of Historically Black Graduate Schools will be held on February 16-17, 2022 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Raleigh, NC.
The Raleigh Marriott City Center is holding a block of rooms for the CSGS Annual Meeting and will accept reservations by phone at (888) 236-2427. Please indicate that you are part of the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools when making your reservations by January 17, 2022.
Covid-19 Information: For your protection, CHBGS is following health safety practices established by the Council of Graduate Schools for attendance at the annual meeting in New Orleans in December:
The room rate is $174 per night. This includes complimentary guest room internet for all attendees. The conference rate will be honored for three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after the event based on hotel availability.
Parking: The Raleigh Marriott City Center is adjacent to a 900 space city-owned parking garage managed by McLaurin Parking which serves the convention center and hotel guests alike. Listed below is current pricing for parking. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
Valet, Overnight, $30 per night
Self-parking, Overnight, $15 per night
Valet, Day Event, $18 per day
Self-parking, Day Rate, $3 per hour with a maximum of $15 per day
Covid-19 Information: Please see Wake County's Covid-19 Information Page for information on case numbers, mask mandates, and other safety measures. The hotel also has a set of Covid-19 guidelines. The conference will adhere to all county and hotel guidelines and requirements.
Attendees must be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to entering the meeting. To verify this status, CHBGS is using the Health Pass CLEAR, which provides secure, digital proof of COVID-19-related health information. Attendees must download the CLEAR Mobile app and complete health screening with Health Pass by CLEAR ahead of time for expedited check-in and meeting entry. A link to download the mobile app will be sent to registrants.
In compliance with CDC and city guidelines, attendees must wear masks indoors when attending sessions/events unless eating or drinking.
